recently visited Crivitz Germany. The donations were presented to food

"Step Into the Past..."
Crivitz Area Museum Complex

Corner of South Ave and Oak Street West of Hwy 141
Open Memorial Day Weekend Thru Labor Day Wednesdays & Saturdays 12:00 Noon to 4:00pm
The Crivitz Area Museum Complex is a great place to take a walk through
the past and present of the Crivitz and Marinette County area. Travel
through eras gone by and see exhibits of an old time kitchen,
schoolroom, general store, doctor's office, communications, and many
others. Browse through the variety of manuscripts, photographs and bits
and pieces of local history. Enjoy the musical instrument and antique
tools displays, and a collection of farm equipment both inside and
outside. Add to this a tour of the historic logging late 1800's era log building,
moved from the Lake Noquebay area and reassembled next to the museum,
with a miniature handmade display of an actual logging camp, and many,
many artifacts and photos of the logging industry of bygone years.
The Crivitz Area Museum Complex is operated by the Crivitz-Stephenson
Historical Society, a nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to
collect, preserve, display and distribute knowledge of the history of
the Crivitz area. The Museum Complex is operated totally by volunteers
from within the community. Admission to the complex is free, however,
donations are greatly appreciated to help defray operational costs.
